Mandate is to work with all stakeholders and represent the industry concerning environmental issues. To accomplish this the committee sits on boards and works closely with groups like ERCB, AWWDA, AIT Environment Canada, plus many more.
This committee is also very active in the Provincial mandate for education and certification. As such has, over the last several years, worked to provide input into the curriculum. Adding industry knowledge to the program is crucial to the success of the process as well as the integration into the industry.
Mandate is to work with all Government stakeholders and Corporations to achieve multiple goals. Mainly industry awareness, develop industry incentives programs and secure funding through sponsorship.
Ongoing work through this committee will result in a broader government and Corporate understanding of how Geothermal works and the benefits incentive programs and funding will have to the industry and in turn the environment.
